Brazilian Butt Lift Hamburg

Let Dr. Sattler Restore Your Behind!

Fluctuations of your body weight will have an impact on your skin and connective tissues. These structures may not completely recoil after losing weight because they lose their elasticity. Excess skin on the buttocks affect many women, because tight skirts, dresses, leggings and hot pants cannot be worn anymore. In these cases, excess skin and fat on the buttocks can be removed surgically. In addition, liposuction can be performed to provide a smooth skin surface, especially in the areas of the waist, back and thighs.

In some cases, the buttocks are quite flat and have little projection with otherwise good skin quality. In these cases, an autologous fat transfer may be ideal to achieve the desired round and tight shape of the buttocks. This procedure is called “Brazilian Butt Lift”.

1) Before Your Operation

Dr. Thorsten Sattler will consult and examine you personally before your surgical procedure. Due to the fact that each person is unique, he will create a personal treatment plan for you based on the latest methods and knowledge in Plastic Surgery. He will take photos and will explain the operation to you with the help of drawings and photos. Limitations, possible risks and alternative treatment options will also be discussed.

The main goal of a buttock lift is to remove excess skin and fatty tissue from your backside. This will create a beautiful youthful and round contour of your bum and fashionable clothes can be worn again. To achieve the best aesthetic result possible, a buttock lift can be combined with other procedures, such as a liposuction of your thighs. A liposuction of fat deposits above the buttocks, the so-called “love handles”, and below the buttocks, the so-called “bananas”, highlights the projection of your buttocks. The harvested fat can be used for an autologous fat transfer, for example to the face, breasts or buttocks. A harmonious appearance with a youthful look is the aim of these procedures and can be achieved by combining various operating techniques. A well-balanced healthy diet including enough protein is very important for your wound healing. Dr. Sattler is not only a board-certified Plastic Surgeon, but also holds a degree in Nutritional medicine. He will happily give you advice with regard to supplements and healthy diets.

2) Operating Techniques

Only safe and modern surgical methods are used by Dr. Sattler. A buttock lift is performed under general anesthesia, a hospital stay for one night is usually recommended. A sole liposuction, may be performed on an outpatient basis, if you are young and healthy. If the liposuction is combined with an autologous fat transfer, a hospital stay for one night might make sense.

Many different techniques are known to perform a buttock lift. Dr. Sattler will choose the best and safest method for you, depending on your anatomy and your aims and desires.

In a classic buttock lift, the cuts are placed above the buttocks in order to remove fat and excess skin. In very pronounced cases, for example after massive weight loss, the excess tissue is not only removed. It is folded in a special technique to increase the projection of the buttocks. This procedure is called “auto augmentation”. In some cases, the incisions can be made in the natural skin creases underneath the buttocks. Whenever possible, Dr. Sattler tries to hide scars in a way that they can be covered by underwear and bikinis.

Dr. Sattler uses an electric scalpel which allows him to operate with extreme precision and minimum blood loss. The wounds are sutured with special absorbable threads which have barbs. A dehiscence of the wound is almost impossible using those threads and suture removal is not necessary. The wound is sealed with a special skin glue. This creates optimal conditions for wound healing and prevents contamination of the wound by germs of the nearby genital area.

Often, the buttock lift is combined with a liposuction to the back, waist and thighs. The harvested fat can be used for an autologous fat transfer to the face, lips or breasts. The female curves are accentuated even further this way and facial aging is counteracted.

For patients with little excess of skin and good connective tissues, a buttock lift without any incisions may be possible. An autologous fat transfer is used to increase the projection of your bum and to form a nice and round buttock without removing tissue. This procedure is called “Brazilian Butt Lift”. The result will be even more impressive if fat deposits of the lower back, waist, below the buttocks and on the thighs are liposucked. On one hand, this leads to nice female curves, on the other hand, the harvested fat can be used for the autologous fat transfer.

There are many different techniques to perform a buttock lift. Dr. Sattler will choose the best and safest method for you, depending on your anatomy and your aims and desires. He works very carefully in order to obtain a harmonious and youthful shape with the best aesthetic result possible and with minimal scarring.

3) Results

By German law, we are not allowed to show you before/after pictures online. However, during your personal consultation with Dr. Thorsten Sattler this will be possible.

4) After Your Operation

After a buttock lift or a Brazilian Butt Lift a hospital stay for one night is recommended. A sole liposuction may be performed on an outpatient basis. Special compression garments must be worn for several weeks to support the wound healing, but also to help the soft tissues to recoil. Compression garments also support the lymphatic flow and will minimize any swelling that might occur.

5) Frequently Asked Questions About Buttock Lifts

a) Can a buttock lift be combined with other procedures?

It is possible to combine a buttock lift with a liposuction to achieve the best aesthetic result possible. In particular, fat deposits on the waist, “love handles”, “bananas” and thighs can be liposucked to optimize the overall appearance. The harvested fat can be used for an autologous fat transfer to the buttocks or breasts. This will accentuate the female contours even further. The fat can also be used to smooth out wrinkles of the face or hands.

b) Can a Brazilian Butt Lift be performed several times?

Recent studies from the US show that the results of a Brazilian Butt Lift are better and safer if smaller amounts of autologous fat are transferred in multiple operations. The transfer of large volumes of autologous fat in just one operation, as initially propagated in South America, can be risky. A requirement for repeated fat injections is that there is enough fat that can be harvested for an autologous fat transfer.

c) Can I wear skimpy underwear after a Brazilian Butt Lift?

The scars of a Brazilian butt lift are tiny and they are hidden whenever possible in the natural skin folds. They are hardly visible. Therefore, tight underwear or even string bikinis can be worn. Even in the sauna or at the nudist beach you can move around freely without any signs of surgery.
